Accommodation
Starting off with our stay at the Kook Hotel. In the heart of the old town you can find the charming Kook Hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation.
From amazing breakfast to super comfy beds, the hotel is all you need for the stay in the beautiful southern town of Andalusia.
On the rooftop of the hotel you get a great outlook of this astonishing town and you can even see Africa from here.

Breakfast in Tarifa
The city offers a great variety of restaurants due to the diversity and immigrants living here. Thus there is a huge culinary. As we are huge breakfast lovers, we listed you our favorites in the city!
Craving for eggs, Pan con Tomate, A Fruit Bowl or just a Croissant? At Andrea's Brunch you can find anything you want right in the city center. It even took us 20 minutes to decide what to chose because of their delicious menu. Also, it is perfectly located to grab something before going to the beach or even have it as a take-away.

Here you can find the perfect Açai Bowl or even just a great typical pan con Tomate. Located at the Main street of Tarifa you can find this trendy Cafe which already exists since 1998.

A plate with a mix of everything? Here you’re exactly right. At cafe 10 you can get eggs served with bread, avocado and salad. Lovely place to eat and watch the people passing by.
Of course we couldn’t leave the chance of having an amazing breakfast at the Kook Hotel we stayed in.
For just 7€ we got everything from coffee to orange juice and eggs to fruits. This all a-rounder breakfast gave us energy for our day at the beach.
Beaches In & Around Tarifa
Atenas PLaya

Keen for a new beach with some live music?
At Atenas playa you can enjoy an Aperol with great views. The beach is beautiful and extremely long.
Beach Near Punto Paloma

Annoyed of the packed beaches? We discovered a hidden and lonely beach near Punto Paloma. This beach is quite small and close to the city. To get here by car you can park at the restaurant Il Mirlo. The price for parking here is 5€ which you can use as a voucher in their restaurant.
From here you continue walking the path until you get into a little forest.

You continue walking until you see a sign with an X. From there you take this path towards the beach and continue walking down the mountain.

From the car to the beach it’s approx. a 15 min walk. :)) - Good luck finding it!
Zahra de los Atunes

If you’re looking for some change and want to explore a different little beach town you should definitely visit Zahara de Los Atunes. The water is amazing here. It’s a bit warmer than Tarifa and the beach is less crowded.
If you spend the here you can enjoy the sunset at the beach and should definitely have dinner at Trattoria L'angolo.
Playa De Los Lances
The beautiful beach located right next to Tarifa's old town is really recommendable for a nice beach walk. It is quite windy so not the best place to tan. However, the chiringuitos (beach bars) are super chill and cozy here.
Tarifa is a beautiful town and there are many activities to do. We stayed here for 10 days and explored the area around. Its the hotspot for kite surfing and many more activities.
We went horse riding, which was an amazing experience. If your'e looking for horse riding you should go here!

Thanks for the read & surely you can contact us anytime for questions of the trip.
Until soon,
